COMMUNITY TRADE HUB TRAINING

At Community Trade Hub, our training programmes are designed to provide meaningful, practical opportunities for young people who may not thrive within a traditional classroom environment. We recognise that every individual learns differently, and that confidence, engagement and personal growth are just as important as qualifications. Our approach focuses on creating supportive, hands-on learning environments where young people can develop real skills while building self-belief and direction.

We understand that early intervention is crucial. Many young people face barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential, and without the right support at the right time, disengagement can quickly become long-term. Our training pathways offer structured alternatives that allow participants to re-engage with learning in a way that feels relevant, purposeful and achievable.

Working in partnership with schools and local organisations, we deliver practical programmes across construction, mechanics and hospitality, alongside community-based initiatives. Each young person is supported by experienced staff who take the time to understand their strengths, interests and ambitions. Our aim is not simply to prepare individuals for employment, but to equip them with the confidence, resilience and life skills needed to move forward positively — both within education and beyond it.

Construction
CONSTRUCTION

Our Construction programme provides hands-on training in a real workshop environment, helping young people develop practical trade skills, confidence and a strong work ethic. Through structured projects and guided support, learners gain valuable experience that prepares them for further training, apprenticeships and future employment within the construction industry.

Mechanics
MECHANICS

Our Mechanics programme offers practical, workshop-based training that allows young people to develop real automotive and engineering skills. Through hands-on experience with tools, engines and vehicle systems, learners build technical ability, confidence and problem-solving skills that support progression into further training, apprenticeships or employment.

Hospitality
HOSPITALITY

Our Hospitality programme delivers hands-on kitchen training within a modern, professional environment. Young people develop practical cooking skills, food safety knowledge and teamwork experience while building confidence and creativity. The programme provides a strong foundation for further training, apprenticeships or employment within the hospitality and catering industry.

Camps
CAMPS

Our Holiday Camps provide engaging, hands-on activities during school breaks, giving young people the opportunity to learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through practical projects, teamwork and creative challenges, children build confidence, make new friends and stay active while enjoying a positive and structured holiday experience.

Community Projects
COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Our Community Projects give young people the opportunity to make a positive impact within their local area while developing teamwork, responsibility and pride. Through practical, hands-on initiatives and partnership work, participants build confidence and strengthen their connection to the wider community.

Mobile Classroom
MOBILE CLASSROOM

Our Mobile Classroom brings hands-on learning directly into the community, providing flexible training opportunities in a fully equipped, purpose-built workshop space. This innovative approach allows young people to access practical skills development wherever it is needed, supporting engagement, confidence and real-world learning on the move.
